Bruce L. Jorgensen, a valued member, friend and colleague of Olson & Hoggan P.C. suddenly passed away July 6, 2016. Bruce joined the firm in 1977 after graduating cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law, Brigham Young University. He was a recognized expert in municipal law and over the years had represented many of the local cities and towns of northern Utah. Bruce also served as President of the Cache County Bar Association (1987-1988), on the Utah State University Alumni Board (1986-1988), and as Alumni President and Trustee of the Utah State University Board of Trustees (1991-1993). He was a member of the Utah State Bar, and admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Utah, and admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court in 1987. Bruce also practiced in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate and commercial law.
Bruce is survived by his beloved wife Risa and five children and eight grandchildren.
